1. Introduction

CreatineCalc ("we", "us", or "our") operates https://www.creatinedosagecalculator.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

We run no advertising on this site and we have no affiliate links. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

2. Data We Collect

• Contact form submissions: when you send us a message we receive the name, email address and message you type into the form.
• Anonymous usage data: aggregated analytics about how the site is used — pages viewed, approximate location at country/region level, device and browser type, and the referring site.
• Calculator inputs: none. Your body weight and any other value you enter into a calculator is processed entirely in your browser. It is never transmitted to us and never stored.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To reply to questions, feedback and corrections you send us through the contact form.
• To understand which pages and calculators people find useful, so we can improve and prioritise them.
• To keep the site secure and diagnose technical problems.

We do not use your information for profiling, automated decision-making, or advertising.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-JY12RDBN3D) to measure anonymous, aggregated traffic. Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address (anonymised by Google before storage), browser and device type, the pages you visit and how long you spend on them. This data is reported to us in aggregate and does not identify you personally. We do not enable Google Signals, advertising features, or ad personalisation on our property.

You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site you visit by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking analytics scripts in your browser or with a content blocker. The calculators and every other feature of this site work normally with analytics blocked.

5. Contact Form Data

The contact form sends your name, email address and message to the site operator by email over SMTP. Those messages are not written to any database and are not added to a mailing list — they simply arrive in our inbox, where we read and answer them. We use your email address only to reply to you.

Please do not send us sensitive personal or medical information through the contact form. It is an ordinary email channel and is not intended for confidential health data.

6. Cookies

The only cookies this site sets are analytics cookies, placed by Google Analytics to distinguish one visit from another and to measure how the site is used. We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not work with ad networks or ad partners.

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Doing so does not affect the calculators or any other functionality on this site.

7. Third-Party Services

Google Analytics (Google LLC) is the only third-party service that receives data about your visit. Its handling of that data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

This site also links out to third-party websites, such as journal articles and research databases. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies before sharing information with them.

8. Data Retention

• Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for the standard retention period configured on our property and is only ever available to us in aggregate form.
• Contact emails are kept in our inbox only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and to keep a record of correspondence, and are deleted when no longer needed.
• Calculator inputs are never retained, because they never leave your browser.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the UK, and under the CCPA/CPRA in California — you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy of it
• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Request the deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict our processing of your data
• Opt out of analytics measurement
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not run targeted advertising, so there is no ad-targeting opt-out to exercise. In practice the only personal data we hold is any email correspondence you have started with us. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below and we will respond within the timeframe required by the applicable law (45 days under the CCPA, one month under the GDPR).

10. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
